A well-known multisite hospitality business is recruiting a Commercial Finance Analyst. This business is growing rapidly, and it is a hugely exciting time to join. Especially in this high-profile role where you will be working closely with non-finance and senior colleagues. You will have core commercial finance responsibility and provide insight to drive revenue and profit. The successful candidate will have a high level of attention to detail, the ability to assimilate large amounts of data, great communications skills and be committed to improving systems and processes. You will contribute through strategic thinking and providing detailed analysis. Specifically, you will drive improvements to reporting through the implementation of a new Business Intelligence system and KPI reporting. You will work alongside procurement in reviewing and analysing supplier performance; heavy involvement in New Product Development and Marketing through capital appraisal analysis and post investment review; and design a new cost management reporting tool e.g. raw materials, payroll, ops costs and gross profit. You will also undertake various ad hoc tasks and pieces of analysis e.g. pricing. You will attend and heavily contribute to the monthly Financial Review Meetings with the senior management team. The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with strong excel skills, producing financial models, get to grips with a new Business Intelligence system quickly, and demonstrate a strong understanding of commercial finance in a multi-site environment.
