A market leading insurer are currently looking for an Assistant Financial Accountant to join their rapidly growing finance team. In this Assistant Financial Accountant position the responsibilities will include: - Day to day bookkeeping for various group companies Assisting in the preparation of group consolidation, including processing of various transactions Assisting in the year end and interim reporting process for the Group Assisting in preparation of subsidiary statutory financial statements Ad hoc process improvements and project work The candidate for this Assistant Financial Accountant position must be someone looking to become a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a good understanding of basic accounting with Lloyd's accounting being preferred. Ideally the candidate would be from an insurance background with a keen desire to take on new responsibilities.
