We have a new job opportunity available for an experienced Bookkeeper.This offers an annual salary of £20'000 to £22'000 for a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.A three or a four day week will also be considered for the right person. You will be working for a successful insurance company and you will be based in their office in Romford 80% of the time and 20% of the time you will be based in their smaller office in Braxted Park.Your role will involve answering telephone calls in a professional manner, maintaining client records, processing payments and refunds and dealing with direct debit agreements, reconciliation of Insurance Accounts, bank reconciliations and journal postings, cashbook, purchase and sales ledger maintenance.You will also be keeping Sage and Xero up to date, managing the petty cash, invoicing, VAT return preparation, meeting account deadlines and assisting the Senior Management Accountant. To be considered for this opportunity you will need... A minimum of two years working as a Bookkeeper, Accounts Assistant or Accounts Clerk A car driver Knowledge of Sage Knowledge of Xero would be beneficial, although this is not essential
