Job Description IT Risk Senior Specialist Cardiff Salary - £60,000 - £65,000 DJS/171131 A major financial services firm is seeking a proven IT Risk Manager/Senior Specialist to join their team after record (€10bn) revenue year and increased investment into their already impressive IT Risk and governance teams. What will you be doing: Speaking with the business, to understand it's needs and offer customized IT Risk solutions within regulatory and policy guidelines. Use your prior experience within IT Risk to suggest, persuade and implement new IT Risk frameworks and policies group wide. Work closely with other teams like Audit, compliance, first line of defence on control procedures and ensuring regulation guidelines are adhered to. Develop action plans and control framework approaches for the business. The ideal candidate: Several years' operating as an IT Risk professional within a financial services firm. Experience in IT Risk & Controls with relevant qualifications Demonstrable experience reviewing and executing IT policy. Scrutinise and improve in house IT operations form a governance and policy standpoint. Ideally you will have COBIT, ISO 27001 understanding and practical application Effective executive level communication and presenting skills IT risk framework design & implementation
