RDR are recruiting for REPORTING AND FORECASTING ANALYST to be based in Wath upon Dearne, Rotherham . This is available as a full-time permanent position working 37.5 hours per week, 08:00 am to 16:30 pm, Monday to Friday with a competitive salary on offer. General Overview for the Reporting and forecasting analyst position: As the reporting and forcasting analyst you will need to be a effective part of the finance team by providing financial process controls; management information gathering, consolidation and reporting; and support for various divisional projects. Responsibilities, skills and experience include: Owner of all divisional reporting deliverables as per UK FP&A and SSC requirements Facilitation of the month end results Flash process till close (Flash files and coordinating the various finance business partners); and all other consolidation exercises such as Best Estimate Preparing of the Divisional slide packs and required for Board Reviews - this includes gathering of information across various sources to produce good management information and business insight across key financial KPIs Supporting the implementation of system structures as appropriate (BPC, SAP, E-Vision, MS Navision) Providing meaningful executive level analysis of business performance Ownership of the Sector's SG&A budget and business partnering the Function leads to perform to budget, supporting ad-hoc transformational activities and providing analysis support Supporting the Division's planning processes (annual budget / reforecast and monthly rolling forecast) Developing proactive and meaningful analysis and reports to support the review of and challenge forecasts Other Ad-hoc activities which may include support to the Business Development team for financial modelling (to support another team member who is the primary business modeller); facilitating business set ups of new projects and schemes - this will include some month end activities Complexity: A "self-starter" approach be confident in building relationships and manage multiple stakeholders Good organisation, planning and presentation skills Complex thinking skills and be able to link different data sets to make management information conclusions Good knowledge of systems (BPC, SAP, E-Vision, Ms Navision) The skill set mix required includes FP&A, Business Partnering, Controlling and Transformation Qualifications: AAT or Part Qualified Experience needed for the Reporting and Forecasting Analyst position: Good financial & commercial acumen Ability to analyse complex data with accuracy Good communicator and strong inter-personal skills Excellent problem solving, analytical and customer service skills Excellent planning & administration skills Being open to innovation and new ways of working Innovative thinking and can-do attitude Systems: Strong IT skills with excellent working knowledge of ERP systems MS Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint How to Apply: Please apply directly for the Reporting and forecasting Analyst vacancy.
