Reporting to the Business Partner Manager, the Finance Business Partner aligned to IT, will play a key role driving astute commercial and financial decision making across the outsourced service providers. The post-holder has responsibility for financial contract management of the service providers, ensuring cost efficient service delivery. The successful candidate will have a strong commercial business partnering background, with proven experience in IT projects. This role is based in London with 2/3 days per week in central Nottingham. In this role, you are accountable for:
• Responsible for ensuring all financial contractual obligations are met by both parties
• Ensure the business has a clear understanding of costs, both actual and forecast
• Responsible for calculation and communication of profit awards to service providers
• Provision of advice to the business on complex finance related contractual issues
• Manage key stakeholder relationships across the outsource provider, supply chain and customer engagement
• Provide key input into the outsource service provider financial business plan
• Ensure reports are produced, presented and discussed to internal and external stakeholders
• Lead on development and implementation of financial improvement initiatives.
• Ensure appropriate financial decision support is provided to senior management
• Responsible for finalisation of open book cost reviews What skills, qualifications and qualities do I need to be successful?
• Extensive post-qualification experience at a mid-senior level in a complex organisation
• Experience of outsource provider contract management
• Extensive experience of business partnering and projects (preferably IT related projects)
• Providing operational and strategic decision support to Director level stakeholders
• Advanced planning and costing skills
• Development and review / challenge of financial plans
• Experience maintaining successful relationships across a range of internal and external stakeholders
