Responsibilities:
As an Accounts Assistant you will be reporting to the Accounts Lead. The primary purpose of the role is to provide accounting, tax and administrative services to single person companies. This is a great role and provides an opportunity to sit within a large team of Accountants and support team members. You will be responsible for: Taking incoming calls and being the first point of contact for our clients, providing outstanding customer service; Calling clients back and managing the email inbox Ensuring all statutory deadlines are met Providing tailored advice and ensuring accounts are prepared and are accurate within service levels, pre agreed with the client Involvement with clients regarding VAT and PAYE Full understanding of the weekly management accounts and be able to reconcile on request and Communicating the agency processes to clients in relation to invoices and payments Ideal Candidate: Our ideal candidate will have the drive and ambition to deliver an outstanding customer service experience plus have an interest in Accounts. The Accounts Assistant role is extremely busy and would suit someone who enjoys speaking to clients/customer and has a proactive attitude. Ideally you will also have: A proven record in delivering outstanding customer service either face to face or over the telephone High energy and approachable nature and The drive to studying towards an Accounting qualification and want to enhance their accounting knowledge with the prospect of progression within the department
