Head of Finance - London - Salary Competitive Bonus A newly forming, and well backed renewables investment platform is looking for a Head of Finance to join this exciting and developing team in London. This role will be integral to how the early growth stage of the business and will be a CFO designate role in 12-18 months. The platform has seed capital of £250m with line of sight to £1bn. Responsibilities Developing the financial reporting processes for growth for the fund Responsible for quarterly NAV fund consolidation and KPI return reporting (INREV compliant) Responsible for delivering quarterly investor reports to Audit Committee, to administrator and investors within 30 working day timetable Collaborate with investment and asset management team members on investor updates Responsible for internal control checklist process and on-boarding of all new pipeline assets Preparing notifications and relevant material for investor capital drawdowns Ensure smooth and timely equity drawdowns for investments and distributions to investors Manage platform capital structure and cash movements across jurisdictions] Supervising 3rd party providers, and reviewing work done by external stakeholders Ownership of tax structuring process for new investments Finance assistance with debt raising at asset level and any liquidity facilities at platform level Responsible for quarterly bank reporting (financial covenant and compliance certificates) gaining good rapport with key banks Overseeing treasury function and bank approvals Attendance at weekly management meetings Requirements Be a senior finance leader with a strong chartered accounting background (ACA/CA) Have experience working with private infrastructure investments, large listed infrastructure or real estate entities, or alternatively have worked in a heavily regulated industry such as utilities Experience across multiple European jurisdictions A Big 4 Training background will be favourably looked upon Possess a strong analytical mindset Proven track record in working effectively and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders Experience in designing and implementing internal structures and finance processes from an early stage would be a plus
