Responsibilities:
Understanding the requirements for R&D tax relief and applying them in respect to client's development activities Drafting of clear financial narratives and analysis documents to justify R&D activities carried out by clients to the UK tax authorities Collecting data through background research into clients and their relevant industries and interviewing key technical and financial leads Managing client's R&D claims throughout the project Interacting with HMRC, the tax authority, to provide additional support to defend the claims prepared Updating clients and third parties on the ongoing development of the R&D tax relief scheme Desired experience & skills: ICAS/ICAEW/CTA/ATT qualified Strong business partnering skills Experience in UK Corporation Tax compliance Good working knowledge with Excel to manipulate large and complete datasets with VLookup, IF functions and pivot tables etc
