Our client is a leading business at the forefront of their sector here in the United Kingdom. With further investment and extensive business plans afoot they are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to work closely with both Finance and Operations to deliver an excellent standard of Financial Reporting in their Head Office based in the Heart of London's Docklands area. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this role will include the delegation of workload to a small Financial Accounting team; Production of Year End Statutory Accounts for main company and a few subsidiaries; Working with external Tax Advisors, completing Corporation Tax returns, with associated calculations/schedules; Working closely on the Audit with external Auditors; Assisting with IT Finance Systems mapping and upgrading; Overseeing General Ledger Functions and delegating of workloads to the Financial Accounting team. The company is looking to attract a person with strong technical Financial Accounting skills; Good systems knowledge including intermediate level MS Excel, further knowledge/experience of systems migration or implementations would also be advantageous. You will be CCAB Qualified (or overseas equivalent), ACA/CPA/ACCA/CIMA with around 3-8 years post -qualification experience. You will be adept about Financial and Statutory Accounting - relishing the challenge of making things fit and accurately pull together on a daily basis; You will have strong double entry skills/. You must be Tax aware, and interested in working with Tax experts to achieve results.
