Currently recruiting a Group Financial Controller for a growing PLC backed business in Bedfordshire, this role will sit as the point of contact for UK Finance regarding control and reporting, whilst still possessing customer and commercial exposure to wider business. Roles and responsibilities Full ownership for the UK Financials, P/L, control and reporting functions Responsible for the management and development of the Finance Team (team of 12) Partner with senior stakeholders up to MD, CFO and external operations directors Accountable for the compliance of financial statements with Accounting policies, IFRS and relevant tax law Continually improving financial processes- driving a culture of continuous improvement and efficiencies. Devising and implementing change across the business to drive efficiency. Enforcing strict adherence to financial controls Supporting annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting process Qualifications/ personal Specification: Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with 5 years post qualification experience Strong reporting experience, including as part of a larger Group but experience of other reporting environments also of interest Strong technical grounding- comfortable to oversee and lead reporting/control processes Confident business partner to wider business- used to working with and advising senior management up to board level If this could be you or anyone in your network, please apply below or reach out on
