On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Finance Analyst for a 12 month contract based in Derby . Purpose of the Role: This role is a great opportunity to support a team through a significant time of transformation in a crucial area of the company. It will enable the current team to focus on a new system development, so the individual will help coordinate and sustain current practice to facilitate the improvements. Working under the guidance of the existing managers the role will cover the below: As a Finance Analyst you will be responsible for: Support ongoing process delivery and coming home process from Annual Target setting (ATS) through to Standard Setting. Ensure appropriate controls are operating effectively across the CRISP (Cost Reduction in SAP) governance team, including the operation of a drumbeat suite of data integrity checks with issues interrogated. Delivery of complete, accurate and timely ad-hoc analysis on cost performance, predominantly sourced from the CRISP system. Manage Access database related queries Lead the process of coordinating the Round 3 Bill of Material updates through all impacted parts of the process, prior to Standard Setting. Validate inputs into the significant and certain process. Maintain the ESV and spares models, ensuring data integrity. Support ad hoc data requests/information validation to the SCUs to aid their achievement of targets. Review of current spreadsheet controls, ensuring the files are up to standard and meet the business requirements. Support the Transformation project Support the Finance Manager in identifying opportunities to improve standard SAP reporting processes (e.g. Valuation Class, Bulk loads, New Parts introduction) Explore ICT processes and work with the EFSC to determine the best process for onward. Process mapping of inputs to support transformation programme Review of CRISP consistency reconciliations between different models in the Cost Landscape Support Standard Costing process and associated audit documentation through the process of calculating, analysing and communicating Engine Set Values and Spares Cost Indices What we require from the candidate: Previous Finance Analyst experience Fully qualified CIMA or ACCA or ACA Accountant Previous experience working in an engineering/manufacturing/aerospace organisation If you are interested in applying for this position and meet the criteria outlined above, please click the link to apply and we will contact you with an update in due course.
