The role sits within the newly created team and reports to the recently appointed EMEA Corporate Audit Director. Although the role is based in London, audit engagements and projects will be executed throughout the EMEA region (travel is up to 30%). The team's mission is to deliver responsive risk-based audit and advisory services in a spirit of partnership with objectivity, fairness, transparency, and in accordance with professional and ethical standards. The Senior Internal Auditors in the team are charged with leading delivery of audit and advisory services. They plan and execute engagements in order to address all areas of enterprise risk management (strategic, financial, operational, compliance, and reputational) and to establish and maintain the team culture. They demonstrate thorough knowledge and a proven record of success in completing aspects of the Internal Audit process, control evaluation and testing methodologies, and other Financial and Operational Internal Control methodologies and terminology e.g. COSO. You'll ideally hold a recognised audit or accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIA or equivalent) and have proven experience of delivering high quality audit projects within an international organisation. You'll be an agile thinker and able to adapt your audit approach as necessary. Communication is key and you'll be able to communicate complicated issues and the concept of risk and risk management to non-finance based individuals as well as senior executives and business leaders throughout the organisation.
