Improve processes at AIA, as Purchase Ledger & Accounts Payable Assistant We're an exciting, tech-driven and highly successful international business. But we're always striving to improve the way we work. Which is where you'll have an important part to play. AIA is a global leader in talent acquisition technologies. We define our industry - we even have our own recruitment marketing software, TalentBrew. We're also a team of ferocious innovators. Not only in finding better ways for employers and job seekers to connect, but in the way we do things in our central London office. As Purchase Ledger & Accounts Payable Assistant , a big part of your job will be to pinpoint and implement efficiency improvements in our financial processes. If you're happy handling a lot of data and admin, this is a role you can throw yourself into. You'll be a welcome addition to our UK finance team, taking responsibility for the timely and accurate processing of data that supports our management accounting and control of working capital. Our work matters. So will you. Clients depend on us to promote their employer brands and give their recruitment marketing campaigns the best chance of success. Candidates rely on us to enable them to make the right career choices. So you'll matter to us - your job satisfaction, your development, you as an individual. Your ideas will always be welcomed because we're that kind of place. And we'll give you all the tools to do your job, plus the training resources to widen your knowledge. Be fully involved There's no danger of becoming bored in this role. You'll be checking the validity of claims and processing expenses; setting up new suppliers on the system; matching invoices to purchase orders and processing twice-monthly payments; updating exchange rates on our systems; and handling bank, supplier and credit card reconciliations at month end... giving you plenty of scope to identify what we can do better. It's a great way to build on the experience you've gained in an accounts payable role. You'll need to be able to fit into a close-knit team and have the communication skills to liaise with people across AIA. What it's like here It's busy, there are always deadlines to meet. But it's incredibly supportive. Teams work together, people look out for each other. You'll be helping your colleagues; they'll be happy to give you help when you need it. Because we work as one, united in a common passion to do our best for our clients. And we know how to reward ourselves for a job well done. That could mean sharing a drink on our twelfth-floor roof terrace or out of the office (we're handily located near St Paul's and the Barbican). Or letting our hair down at our Christmas and summer parties. Or tucking into Pizza Friday once a month. That's all on top of more formal benefits such as private healthcare, interest-free season ticket loans and cycle-to-work scheme. So, what's next? Like what you've read?
