Accounts Assistant £22-26k AC PLC is currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant but with specific emphasis within Credit Control to work within Finance to ensure that applications for payment are correct and fall in line with the cash flow, that payments are chased and balanced on a monthly basis. We are looking for a tenacious individual who has at least 2 years' experience in a similar role and who will enjoy working in a hardworking, evolving team. We would consider applicants that are looking for temporary work, temp to perm, contract or a permanent role. Key Duties and Accountabilities In conjunction with Commercial divisions and Finance chase any outstanding invoices and applications Keep control of cash flow on all incoming monies Monitor clients credit limits to credit ratings Process client receipts updating Navision and Project Tracker (bespoke software) Update cash book Additional duties as required: Process expenses via Navision Credit card processing and reconciliation To identify opportunities to improve systems and processes within the Accounts Department and make recommendations as appropriate To support the Quality and Health and Safety goals within the company Requirements of the Role Credit control experience within a construction industry environment is essential Dynamics Navision Microsoft Word and Excel Competent in using Accounting Software and MS Office applications Ability to deal with a variety of daily issues and prioritise work Strong analytical skills, able to interpret complex data Accuracy and attention to detail Added information about the role Being part of a friendly, supportive and dynamic team Long-standing Management structure Beautiful country office setting with free parking onsite Behind every great company is a great group of people.
