Eaton's Aerospace Group is seeking a Senior Financial Controller for our Fuel products and manufacturing operations. Primary Function: The Fuel business Senior Financial Controller will be responsible for roughly a $500M in annual sales per business unit. In this role, you will be responsible for all financial aspects of the business unit and will partner closely with the business unit manager and the approximately 4 sites under his/her responsibility globally. The role reports directly to the Director of Finance based in US and functionally to the business unit manager for their division. In this role, You will also work closely with the Engineering Director for their divisions and provide financial guidance and support for the various projects and programs supported by each business. Your key deliverables: Responsible for the entirety of the financial performance and execution of all financial operations for the assigned business unit Drive strong partnership with the business unit manager and leadership support team to execute all end to end processes and support all business initiatives Plan and implement system and processes to improve growth of the business unit and company Coordinate with business unit manager to execute to forecast and plan for assigned business unit Accountable for the preparation and forecast of the annual budget, capital expenditure, operating costs and program allocations for assigned business unit Manage finance team of site controllers and analysts (approximately 7-8 per unit) Coordinate with shared services teams to ensure all transactions are properly executed and allocated Implement changes to improve processes and procedures Accountable for the integrity of all financial statements and proper internal controls are in place Provide high level analysis of all financial and applicable market data to support goals of business unit Accountable for all audit process internally and externally to ensure controls are working as required Support all culture, inclusion, and diversity as well as early and emerging talent activities to drive organizational capability, build the talent pipeline and support the leadership development of all team members within his/her scope Accountable for all program financial controls, contract accounting, commercial financial responsibilities to support all bid and capture activities related to program development and execution All other duties as required and assigned Are you? Required: Educated at Bachelor's Degree level or equivalent in accounting or finance from an accredited institution? Having a Postgraduate degree in financial management? Coming with a minimum of 7 years of finance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment? An experienced Leader, with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in leading and developing your team? Having detailed knowledge of SOX? An excellent communicator, with ability to build relationships across different territories? Available to travel up to at least 25-30% of the working time? Desired: Educated at MBA level? Coming with 5 years of aerospace manufacturing finance experience and aerospace commercial experience in managing programs, contract negotiations? Experienced with government accounting?
