Due to company Growth, Gap Professional are working with a local Manufacturer who have an opportunity for an experienced Finance Assistant to work in their small accounts team. Duties for the Finance Assistant will include:
• Undertake the day-to-day input onto the accounting system and the maintenance of financial records
• Oversee the banking, review and check petty cash reimbursements.
• Overseeing/Reconciling Bank statements to the Company's main financial records for all reporting entities on a daily / monthly basis updating the daily cash flow forecasts and also updating job cost reports on a real time basis.
• Ensure that all relevant (control account) nominal ledger are reconciled and updated on excel analysis sheets on a real time basis.
• Follow up and investigate any queries or differences and authorise any resulting journal entries.
• Prepare and post all general Ledger journals.
• Process sales invoices, customer receipts and credit control and deal with queries.
• Process purchase invoices, supplier payments and deal with queries.
• Process monthly credit card statements
• Assist FD with any month end related tasks
• End of year payroll returns and P11D.
• Produce payment runs for suppliers in conjunction with the FD
• Assist with the preparation and monitoring of the monthly cash flow forecast. There will also be additional tasks to support the business including arranging hotels etc. Requirements for the Finance Assistant include: -General accounts experience up to trial balance -Strong Excel knowledge -AAT qualified is desirable -General office experience in non-accounting duties is a must -Car driver/owner due to location Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm - One-hour lunch This vacancy is advertised on behalf of gap personnel group (Quattro Recruitment Ltd & Quattro Healthcare Ltd) who operate as an Employment Business. gap personnel group is an Equal Opportunities Employer.
