This position requires high judgment, focus on speed and accuracy, and an ability to balance employee experience with financial controllership; it also offers broad exposure to various business and technical teams within Amazon. The ideal candidate has an accomplished professional background, demonstrated proficiency in advanced data analytics, and experience as an analyst also capable of industry research. They are comfortable analyzing data from multiple sources to create strategic recommendations in a thoughtful, concise manner and obtaining organizational buy-in at senior levels. They are well-organized, can manage multiple analyses/projects simultaneously, and is intellectually curious. Responsibilities include Developing intelligent, insightful reporting on the key drivers of our business Interacting with internal stakeholders to deep-dive outlier events Ad-hoc project work supporting the re-invention of how we manage our business Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format Identify process and system improvement opportunities by monitoring existent metrics, analyzing data and partnering with internal teams The expertise youll develop includes Ability to break down and solve complex problems Develop high impact solutions Translate massive data sets into actionable business results Drive scalable solutions Expand feature sets globally BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Information Systems, or any related field from an accredited institution 3 years of experience as a Financial Analyst, Business Analyst, or Systems Analyst Proven analytical and quantitative skills (includes the ability to effectively use tools such as Excel, Access, and Minitab) and an ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, develop business cases, and complete root cause analyses Strong verbal and written communication & data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams Advanced SQL writing and experience in data mining (SQL, ETL, data warehouse, etc.) and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets Experience managing multiple competing priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS -5 years of professional experience in business intelligence or data analysis Creative in finding new solutions, designing innovative methods, systems and processes Extensive experience working on complex, cross-functional initiatives in a dynamic environment Excellent organization skills to work across functions and upwards Ability to use data to back up assumptions, develop business cases, and complete root cause analysis Ability to take loosely defined business questions and translate them into clearly defined technical/data specifications Job details IN, MH, Pune Finance Operations Finance and Accounting
