An exciting new role for a global organisation based in Leeds. The interim corporate management accountant will provide commercial management accounts and partner with the business.

Description
The Interim Corporate Management Accountant role is responsible for the production of timely and accurate monthly management accounts for several UK and European subsidiaries. The role will involve working closely with European finance heads and their teams to add value to the reporting, ensure adherence to group policies and controls, and provide credible monthly reforecasts.
Key responsibilities:
- Monthly preparation and/ or review of overseas management accounts
- Monthly review of UK management accounts
- Monthly P&L reforecasts and variance analysis
- Monthly cash flow actuals analysis and reforecasting
- Liaising regularly with central budget holders for monthly reforecasting purposes
- Regular assistance, review and monitoring of ledger transactions
- Assisting with ad hoc projects and initiatives
- Assisting junior management accountants with day to day responsibilities
- Preparing annual budgets
- Preparation and review of annual financial statements
Profile
The interim Corporate Management Accountant needs to be/have:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Experience of IFRS reporting
- Strong IT skills
- Experience of working in a corporate business and professional services type environment would be advantageous
- Available to start a new role in mid November
- Able to commit to a 12 month contract
