The Finance Business Partner will take full commercial control for the financial performance of two divisions within the business, as well as liaising with senior business stakeholders on an international level.

Description

The role of Finance Business Partner will be an interesting and varied role, where no two days are likely to be the same. The key requirements of the role will include, but not limited to;

• Preparation of key financial statements including the divisional P&L and Balance sheets

• Reporting on the divisional performance to senior stakeholders throughout the business

• Building robust budgets and forecasts with the Financial Controller

• Updating on running projects, highlighting future risks and commercial opportunities

• Improving and streamlining reports for both Engineering and Product Support departments

• Partnering with operational and financial departments, to improve collaboration and understanding throughout the business
• Involvement with Ad-hoc Projects

Profile

Due to the importance of this role, it is important that the client attracts the right talent to the role. The successful candidate should;

• Be a qualified Accountant, qualified to either ACCA, ACA or CIMA level with at least two years experience post qual

• Experience business partnering, or working with non finance departments

• Excellent attention to detail

• Desire to take ownership and responsibility of work

• Excellent analytical skills, with strong commercial awareness

• Leadership and communication skills, and ambition to grow within the company
