Job Details
As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, your role will be to oversee the entire Purchase Ledger function, from posting invoices to reconciling statements.

My client is a well-established Group within the Manufacturing and Engineering industry. They are looking for a new Purchase Ledger Clerk to join the established Finance team based out of Poole.
Description
As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, your main responsibilities will include:
- Taking full responsibility for the payment runs.
- Reconciling supplier statements.
- Ensuring queries are resolved within a timely fashion.
- Matching, checking and coding invoices.
- Setting up payment runs out of Sage.
- Loading payment runs into the banking software.
- Being the first point of contact for suppliers.
- Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
- Reviewing systems and processes and making improvements where necessary.
Profile
To be successful in your application, you should have:
- Experience in a similar role.
- Experience with Sage (not essential).
- Experience in a volume environment (not essential).
