Permanent Finance Manager job in Dundee, Salary up to £45,000,

Your new company
Hays Senior Finance is working with a leading group in the Dundee area, seeking an experienced Finance Manager to sit within one of their subsidiary companies in a role which is critical to the success of the company's growth strategy. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accountant to become a key member of the senior management team within a business who are the only one of their kind in Scotland, who put their employees first and are extremely passionate about the service they provide.

Your new role
You will take on a role reporting directly to the Head of Finance which is centred around building strong and lasting relationships at all levels. The Finance Manager has overall responsibility for the preparation of monthly management accounts, balance sheet and cashflows and the day to day financial team function including one direct report. Further to this you will be responsible for the timely and accurate monthly financial reports, delivery of monthly revenue and profit margin reporting, overall monthly P&L, balance sheet and cashflow reforecasting. A strong focus of this role will be maintaining pricing and product models and you will be required to assist Business Development Managers with the preparation of customer pricing. Over all you will be expected to provide analysis to support commercial decision making and to continually strive for "best in practice" working methods, by implementing process improvements and creating process documentations.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an accountant either fully Qualified or Qualified by Experience. You will have strong finance-based experience within a busy, fast-paced finance function including taking a key role in the preparation of the annual budget. You will have a highly collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills as a heavy emphasis will be put on financial business partnering both with external customers and internally with suppliers, partners and operational teams. It is essential that you have financial modelling experience with proven examples of this on your CV in additional to advanced Excel skills and experience working with large data sets. An all-round "team mentality" with drive and passion to consistently deliver your best is critical.

What you'll get in return
This is an excellent opportunity in the local market to take on a responsible role within a large, growing and dynamic group in the local area. You will receive a salary of between £40,000 and £45,000 with competitive pension and holiday benefits.
