Looking for a Senior Audit Officer to join a team in Yate 37 Hours per week. Contract position. Candidates ideally should be part qualified but this is not essential if they can demonstrate evidence of quality experience. They should be able to plan and manage their own work and should be able to demonstrate evidence of having done this before. Main Duties Undertake risk based, probity and other audits and assignments, including special investigation projects and reviews in accordance with the audit plan, to the relevant professional standards. Contribute to projects, value for money and special assignments in a way that enhances their effectiveness and efficiency and contributes to the value of audit and other services. Under the direction of a Group Auditor monitor and report progress on a designated area of the audit plan. Essential Criteria Part qualified CCAB qualification or IIA/AAT or equivalent with significant experience of audit or accountancy work. Excellent communication skills to include listening and interpreting as well as an ability to write and speak fluently and concisely.
