Life Tax Specialist - London Big 4 - up to £100k I am looking for an individual who has a broad insurance tax background who specialises in Life tax. Responsibilities:
Providing UK tax advice to a number of inbound groups in relation to UK taxation. Many carrying on business in the UK using Lloyd's platforms or through significant general insurance operations (or both). Advising and project managing the tax input into the feasibility stage for the combination of two insurance groups across 20 European countries. Playing a significant role in pulling together the European tax element of the subsequent proposal for restructuring work and helping co-ordinate and deliver the on-going project tax advice. Day to day responsibility for managing the tax audit for a number of non-life and Lloyd's groups, together with a number of UK parented insurance brokers. Supporting the tax partner on a key FTSE 100 non-audit account. This primarily involves life insurance advice to the group, along with tax training to the client tax department. Advising in relation to a number of potential acquisitions or disposals. Developing strong professional relationships with clients and other teams People manager role in the insurance team.
