This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified (or exceptional qualified by experience) accountant with experience in manufacturing to join a market leader in their field. Our client is an innovative £60m t/o business which manufacturers a premium product for both the UK and international markets. There is an experienced finance team in place and this is a newly created role to work with the FD in setting up best practice within their manufacturing divisions, this will include utilising their existing ERP system. The business is privately owned and they are a growing both organically and through acquisition. The post holder will work closely with the production director to create best practice and help improve reporting in this area on margins, cost of sale and variance analysis. There will also be the day to day support and leadership of the finance team and a hands on approach is required to support this team on monthly accounts, producing board reports, budgets and forecasts.
