Global Accounting Network is currently recruiting for a globally renowned Ecommerce business based in Central London. My client is seeing consistent growth right across the business, and to support this growth and the increased complexity, they are looking to hire a Senior Accounting Manager. The role will take responsibility for accounting and controllership for the business across a number of areas, whilst also driving multiple cross-border projects and developing best in class processes and controllership. The role is roughly broken down to around 30-40% of your time being focused around month end and reporting, whilst the rest of the time will be focused around delivering projects. Responsibilities include: Ownership of the monthly, quarterly and annual closes Evaluation of technical accounting considerations relating to new business activities Driving continuous improvement of processes and controls Delivering functional projects on a cross-country level Interaction and influencing non-finance areas of the business Ensuring accounting activities are aligned on a global basis Overseeing all aspects of local financial reporting and compliance The ideal candidate for the position will have: ACA/ACCA/CA/CIMA/CPA qualification Ideally experience working for one of the "Big4" accounting firms Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP would be preferred Experience working within a listed, fast-paced company Excellent communication skills Ability to dive deep into data, and with a track record of utilising data to aid decision making This is a great opportunity to join a world famous company in an extremely varied role, which will give the individual great exposure to various projects and the broader business.
