Job Description Provide leadership in the support of business and finance management through all phases of the financial planning and analysis processes. Role /
Responsibilities:
Lead the management of Business Planning deliverables related to MIS Commercial businesses, including a wide range of coordination with other teams Coordinate relevant processes and analysis as required to support the decision making process. Lead a review and evaluation of team's current reporting processes, looking for opportunities to streamline inputs and create automated reporting Coordinate with peer groups within Planning globally to ensure deliverables are met as agreed. Develop materials for senior management presentations, discussions and reviews highlighting key performance indicators Provide analytical support and suggestions regarding the development of planning systems, processes and outputs. Design and develop financial models and metrics to measure performance, highlight key issues for senior management and predict future activity. Ensure assigned business groups are informed on forecasts, results and related process plans/deadlines. Qualifications Undergraduate / first-level degree (e.g. Bachelor's degree) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other business discipline; MBA preferred. Typically a Moody's employee working at this level would have between 6 and 10 years' of relevant financial / commercial experience. Experience supervising and mentoring analysts. Ability to manage projects. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Prior experience working with senior leaders on financial planning and/or reporting. Ability to work under tight and sometimes competing priorities. Experienced with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). Experience working with proprietary planning and reporting tools; ability to utilize systems functionality, extract data and manipulate to support reporting and planning processes.
