REFERENCE: 8422 /31C Our client, a leading independent investment fund, are looking to hire a newly qualified Accountant to join their established finance team. The fund primarily focuses on the infrastructure space, investing into both the European and North American markets. They have recently raised a new fund and are now looking to make a number of acquisitions, making it an exciting time to join. As the Finance Analyst you will be joining an experienced finance team, working very closely with the CFO on a daily basis. You will also regularly be liaising with the front office team along with a number of external advisors, allowing you to gain excellent exposure. This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified Accountant looking to progress their career within the private investment space by becoming an integral member of the fund.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review and have an input in both fund financial and investor reporting Implement risk management processes including liquidity, foreign exchange and interest rates for both the funds and portfolio companies Ensure the continued integrity of tax and structuring elements of investments Act as a key point of contact for the external fund administrators Co-ordinate the preparation of material for board and internal meetings Liaise with both UK and fund compliance to provide management information YOUR PROFILE: Excellent academic record from a leading University Fully qualified with a recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Demonstrated initiative, a willingness to learn and a strong work ethic Fluency in European language(s) would be well regarded
