The company: We are working with an award winning International communications company, based in central London to recruit a Revenue Accountant You will be working with key account managers and other members of the finance team in the office in central London. The main focus will be to business partner and assist agency staff with the management of project finances. This role would ideally suit someone with at least 2 years' experience within a similar role, experience in advertising or media is preferred. The Role Monitors and analyses client project finances. Undertakes regular project WIP/cost reviews with account management Prepares regular reports and analyses of project finances. Issues client invoices and monitors client purchase order Prepares and posts journals such as WIP cost and time transfers, matching and allocations. Understands and monitors balance of accrued and deferred revenue and work in progress (WIP). Proactively reduce these balances and escalate issues to WIP Accounts receivable follow-up and liaising with credit control team to ensure minimal bad debt. Ensures completeness and accuracy of backup documentation for revenue recognition and billing, including purchased order, client approval and purchasing contacts where Prepares month-end reconciliations of balance sheet accounts such as accrued revenue, deferred revenue and client Project reconciliations and closures. Work with auditors - gathering and providing necessary Ad hoc analyses as required Maintains and develops knowledge of regulatory environment and industry and evaluates agency financial processes and controls.Personal Specification 2 years' experience in a similar role (media or advertising is preferred) Models a positive, approachable, and professional manner and demonstrates a willingness to work with internal clients to meet their Maintains trust and credibility with team members and clients by quickly responding to their needs - always following up and delivering high-quality Readily adjusts priorities to respond to pressing and changing Uses others' time efficiently and appropriately (e.g. gathering input from team members) Brewster Partners Recruitment Group focuses on the recruitment of talent in South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, East Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.
