If yes, my client needs you My well established client is looking for an experienced individual to join their team of ten to lead on the management accounting for four serviced apartments, two Head Offices and a further six holding companies. Your day-to-day duties will be supported by experienced and trustworthy assistant management accountant. My client are part of an international network and the successful candidate will gain exposure in reporting internationally. They are looking for a person who can add value to the operations of the company through business partnering and providing sound financial analysis. Responsibilities:
The Senior Accountant is responsible for applying accounting principles and procedures to analyse financial information, preparing accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensuring appropriate accounting control procedures Facilitates and completes monthly closing procedures Analyses revenues and expenses in order to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis Prepares monthly account reconciliations Assists with analysing financial statements on a monthly basis and reports on variances Looks for patterns and trends in financial data Assists with financial and tax audits Assists in the documentation and monitoring of internal controls Ensures all financial reporting deadlines are met Continuous management and support of budget and forecast activities Prepares quarterly VAT returns and P11Ds Assists in variance analysis of actual vs. budget on a monthly basis Maintains balance sheet schedules Maintains accurate asset records Manage one direct report (assistant management accountant) Is willing to travel between properties in the UK if required to attend meetings and training courses Qualifications & Experience At least part ACCA/CIMA qualified Minimum of 3 years' experience in the use of financial systems , budgeting, financial reporting, financial data analysis, auditing, taxation and providing financial advice Background in hospitality or real estate (desirable) Advanced MS Excel Knowledge of SUN accounting Software / and Oracle Knowledge of property management systems or experience of reconciling EPOS/ front of house system to the GL Financial problem solving skills Knowledge of applicable laws, codes and regulations If you truly believe that my client can offer you that ideal opportunity and it return you can be their ideal asset to the team, then please apply Can I please kindly ask that you double check that the location and salary are right you before applying.
