I am currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join my client on a permanent basis. Based on the outskirts of Reading this is a growing Distribution company looking for an experienced accounts assistant to support the wider Finance team. You will be directly reporting into the Financial Director providing support from a financial and administrative perspective with the day to day operations. The successful candidate will possess exceptional organisational and time management skills, and have experience working successfully in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities will include: Maintaining the general ledger system Assist with the Accounts payable duties Provide general administrative support to the management and accounting team Payment runs Maintaining records Query management Calculating and checking to make sure payments, amounts and records are correct Ideally you will have significant experience across both sales and purchase ledger. This role is open to active or stopped studiers including qualified by experience candidates.
