Main

responsibilities:
Identifying a new accounting system for the REIT and subsidiary SPV's Setting up a new group ledger and transferring balances from outsourced accountants Maintaining the general ledger for each group entity, posting daily/weekly transaction journals and processing of information received from the property manager Maintenance of creditors and debtors control accounts, preparation of invoice payments Preparation of the consolidation and consolidation adjustments inline with IFRS Maintain an intercompany balance matrix and calculate and process intercompany dividends each quarter end in line with the management services agreement Preparation of quarterly bank reconciliations Preparation of the annual consolidation for inclusion within the Annual Report Assistance with the drafting of the Annual Report Preparation of annual stand- alone SPV and PLC accounts Liaison with the Auditors and preparation of audit evidence and files Preparation of quarterly VAT returns for the REIT VAT group Preparation of SPV tax returns in accordance with REIT rules for review by tax advisors Calculation and processing of directors quarterly salary payments Additional

responsibilities:
Assistance with forecasts and budgets for the REIT Updating fund model with actuals Bank compliance monitoring and reporting Assistance with asset management reporting Ad hoc tasks relating to acquisitions Progression: Once settled into the role and performing well you will have the opportunity to help support the acquisition process with exposure to corporate finance duties. The FD/CFO are big on development and due to the size of the firm you will have a fantastic opportunity to learn from senior management and really build out your CV. Compensation: £55k - £60k basic salary with strong discretionary bonus and full company benefits on offer Background / Experience: Qualified accountant - ACA/ACCA/CIMA (Ideally 2-5 years post qualification experience) Ideally from a financial services, real estate or professional services background Fundamentally understands end to end accounting to help set up a new group ledger Experience in implementing systems would be advantageous Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel & PowerPoint)
