Accounts Payable Manager An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join an established and successful commercial business in Central Scotland. The core purpose of this role will be building partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers and business stakeholders, improving the customer experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for onboarding of all change that results in improvements to relationships with key suppliers and business stakeholders, working with the Management team to ensure risk to payment performance is minimised. Responsibilities:
Manage relationships with key suppliers and business stakeholders, seeking collaborative working opportunities Responsible for defining and adhering to KPI's Working with the Management team, provide guidance, support and prompt resolution of payment issues Establishing effective ways of working with key stakeholders and their teams Establishing solutions for challenges that impact payment performance Monitoring customer experience and identifying improvement opportunities Responsible for managing and assessing risk with the Payment Performance team Together with the Management team, actively seeking ways of improving process efficiency for their technical, soft skills and personal development, within the personal development framework. Desired Experience: The successful candidate will possess sound knowledge of the control environment required in an Accounts Payable function and be comfortable driving overall direction of the Accounts Payable function. Delivering high quality work at pace with interpersonal skills to make positive business relationships. Desirable experience includes; Experience of key account management with extensive knowledge of managing customers effectively, including a range of stakeholders and working within a challenging, dynamic environment. Ability to influence positive behavioural change Effective communication skills; raising awareness and educating others. Numerate, analytical and problem solver with excellent organisational skills and time management & prioritisation. High level of self-motivation with the ability to work within an environment subject to change with a flexible attitude to working location and environment.
