Job title:
Accounts Assistant Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week with flexible working hours
Salary:
Up to £21k with scope for increase after 6 month probationary period REED Accountancy are working with a business based in Oldbury with a view to recruit an accounts assistant on a permanent basis to join their busy finance team Duties include but are not limited to: Processing purchase & sales invoices and uploading them to the system Balance sheet & monthly supplier reconciliations Reconciling supplier statements and accounts Resolving queries and discrepancies Processing payment runs in a timely manner Processing staff expenses Managing petty cash Processing journals Monthly reporting such as KPIs and transactional accounts analysis Any other ad hoc duties as required Person Specification: Good attention to detail Ability to work to tight deadlines Ability to problem solve and constantly improve processes within the team Self motivated and a "go getter" AAT qualification or working towards it is desirable but not essential At least two years' experience in a similar role Ability to liaise with other departments and customers If you meet the criteria above, please email you CV to or apply online
