We are searching for an experienced Finance Manager to provide a professional and efficient service to internal and external stakeholders; to maintain a high level of compliance to meet internal and external requirements; to provide financial reports and assist with the development of financial strategies for short and long term business growth. Responsibilities Manage the overall internal finance operation such as transaction reporting, performance reporting and invoicing. Supervise daily activities of a team of three members of staff. Ensure compliance with RSM's and BTCS' client contractual / legislative requirements. Approve banking and payment / receipt transfers. Approve transaction postings and reconciliation reports, reporting to RSM's National Finance Office on a monthly basis. Ensure invoices are raised within agreed client parameters. Ensure debtor days meet internal KPIs. Track the business' financial status and performance to identify areas of growth and improvement; assist with research, analyse financial reports to help identify any market trends. Present weekly performance reports for BTCS Partner group. Present monthly financial data / reports for management team. Prepare ad-hoc reports as and when required. Weekly meetings with Partner group and department heads. Contribute to setting and monitoring of financial targets. Monitor and interpret reports and predict future trends, analyse change and advise accordingly. Conduct reviews and reports to identify cost reducing opportunities. Generate and present reports to external stakeholders and clients in formal meetings. Actively seek opportunities to minimise financial risk. Maintain and update internal procedures for the department. Resolve internal and external stakeholder queries. Ensure accuracy and update of CRM database (Sage) at all times. Previous experience from a finance role in a managerial capacity within a professional services environment. Appropriate qualification / part qualification in accounting, business, economics, finance or similar related field. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (particular high competence with Excel) as well as Sage. Requirements Strong organisational, influencing and communication / presentation skills. Ability to multi-task and prioritise their own and others' workloads to ensure deadlines are met. Proven ability in processing a high volume of transactions whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail. Ability to cope with change, to be flexible and handle difficult situations. Strong analytical skills coupled with good commercial awareness. Develops mutually supportive and effective working relationships with members of the team, and provides cooperation and input whilst informing others of own activities and progress. Proactive and acts on own initiative, to be able to make sense of issues, identify and solve problems and to 'think on one's feet'. Listens / questions effectively to gain a thorough understanding of what is required. Able to share knowledge effectively. Takes personal responsibility for decisions and actions within the scope of the role.
