REED Accountancy are currently partnered with a local Reading based client seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a temporary to permanent, or straight permanent role. Working within a team of 4, this role will initially support with Sales Ledger and Credit Control with the view to developing to cover Accounts Payable and further accounting duties over the coming months. This is a fantastic time to join a fast paced and growing business that is going from strength to strength and a wonderful opportunity to utilise your existing skills, as well as develop your wider accounting knowledge. Knowledge of Credit control and/or Sales Ledger would be high beneficial for this role. Responsibilities for this role will include Credit Control / money chasing procedure. Reconciling credit card statement / bank statements Customers over credit limits procedure Vat returns Assisting with other company tasks. This role is currently working 35 hours per week, 9.30am-4.30pm. However my client is open for candidates seeking 37.5 hours per week too.
