Head of Financial Planning and Strategy Winchester and London Up to £90,000 per annum Plus 15% Bonus & Comprehensive Benefits Lead and direct the delivery of financial support and services with Arqiva, a global leader in communications infrastructure. We are seeking a Head of Financial Planning and Strategy to deliver financial support and services to the Arqiva group, working from both our Winchester and London offices. This role is critical to the success of Finance and Arqiva in providing the right forecasts, plans and analysis at the right time for the right people and provides a bridge between strategic thinking and financial implications - bringing plans to light. Providing comprehensive management of elements of the Group financial planning processes, you will: - Support, challenge and business partner business leaders to ensure effective financial decision making - Own and manage the modelling and forecasting from short, medium and the Long Term Plan (LTP) - Understand and explain the impacts of forecast planning decisions on working capital, cashflow, debt and balance sheet - Own the reporting systems (Hyperion) and create processes and reports to drive efficient and single versions of output - Demonstrate through analysis and clear, concise communication, the impact of performance on business plans - Play a leading role in the valuation of the company and for the financial analysis associated with company and shareholder strategic initiatives - Act as a key player in the management of rating agencies, shareholders and in the debt investor community The Head of Financial Planning and Strategy will hold a recognised accountancy qualification, possess experience of devising and applying finance and accounting strategy, as well as the below: - Company financial systems - has good working knowledge of systems and software - Operational leadership - has experience in leading a team in a finance department or context - Industry understanding - has an understanding of the structure of the financial services industry and in particular the role your part of the sector and organisation plays and how the function relates to the wider business - Corporate finance - has an understanding of corporate financial management functions - Finance results - has the ability to interpret financial results and provide management reports on financial performance At Arqiva, our vision is to be central to every vital connection in a world which depends on a continuous stream of information.
