Accounts Receivable Manager Bedford £36,000-£38,500 bpha is a Housing Association located in the Oxford to Cambridge corridor, which is committed to providing its customers with high quality, value for money services whilst continuing to develop energy efficient, sustainable and affordable housing. Our annual turnover is circa £120m and we have a housing stock of circa 18,500 units. We are currently looking for an experienced finance professional to take responsibility for our Accounts Receivable function. What you will be doing: Taking responsibility for the management of 4 Accounts Receivable Assistants. Ensuring that processes exist for the posting of all monies into the organisation. Managing the Sales Ledger, ensuring that it accurately reflects balances on customer accounts and that payments are accurately allocated and chased when overdue. We'd love to meet someone with: Part or fully qualified in a relevant accountancy qualification An understanding of the different kinds of income streams relevant to an organisation with a diverse range of operations. The skills to manage a team and to help them to develop their careers. A high level of communication skills both verbally and in written form.
