Marks Sattin have being retained to recruit the role of a Financial Accountant on a 12 month contract, following past successes with the client. The successful client will be working for a well renowned, highly reputable brand working within the retail/FMCG sector with multiple sites across the country. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain year end timetable for the wider finance team, ensuring all deadlines are met in time for the year end audit. Preparation and compilation of the year end documents for the auditors Complete relevant monthly balance sheet reconciliations and co-ordinate full balance sheet reconciliation across the wider finance team Variance analysis of the P&L, rectifying discrepancies Improving processes/finding efficiencies to streamline the day to day operations Skills and experience Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or QBE considered Retail/FMCG sector experience preferred Business partnering with other areas of the business desirable For more information, please apply with your updated CV.
