Job Responsibilities Preparation of various Monthly Reporting packs for the Board and senior management team, including commentary and business analysis on variances to plan and trends Assist in further developing reporting and MI to provide greater insight to the business (e.g. development of Dashboards, additional analysis as required by the business, etc.) Developing, improve and build efficiencies within various reporting packs Assisting Finance Business Partner in supporting various areas of the business Supporting the planning process, including the preparation of related MI Supporting the forecasting process, and assist in the development of a monthly rolling reforecasts Engaging with colleagues in group finance to ensure monthly results are correct and complete, ensuring Group timetable is adhered to. Assist with proactive economic analysis and forward looking analysis Ad hoc projects and requests as required Assisting in the delivering a "valueadd" Finance function Background / Experience Newly qualified/Part qualified and studying towards an Accountancy Qualification with one of the following bodies - ACA/ACCA/CIMA Financial services or professional services experience (e.g big 4 or banking) Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel & PowerPoint) Experience in reporting, data analysis, budgeting and financial forecasting would be beneficial Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy and persistence in understanding data Excellent analytical, critical thinking and innate problem solving skills
