Description Permanent Project Accountant: Chepstow Role This role is to support the Accounting Manager, Projects teams and order execution functions in analysing the progress and financial results of projects and orders. Involves regular communication with the project managers and other departments in the business to ensure that projects are booked, invoiced, closed down and accounted for correctly providing feedback to management and the business on risks and opportunities from a financial perspective within the company's long term project orders. Also responsible for analysing margins and other KPIs around standard sales and service orders. The role will have a mix of transactional postings combined with account reconciliation and month end tasks. It will also include an element of reporting both internally within the Finance team and with the wider business. The role will also support the Accounting Manager and Finance Director with the audit process and preparation of statutory accounts information. The role provides detailed and timely reporting to both project managers and the senior management team including divisional leads on the performance of projects within their segment/area and any claims made against their projects in the period. Whilst accurately reporting past performance the post holder will also produce regular cash flow, revenue and cost forecasting as relating to the projects and review warranty costs for appropriateness being primary responsible for the compilation of this information Profile An experienced accountant who enjoys a role with a varied schedule Company Dynamic international business Salary & Benefits £40,000 to £45,000 plus an excellent benefits package.
