A fully qualified accountant with previous experience in the preparation of audit and group accounts is wanted in the city center of London within their finance team reporting into a recently promoted Head of Reporting. The role is based in the Group Reporting team which plays a vital role in the company's finance team working in tandem with business analysts and regional finance teams. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate, relevant and timely processing of financial data which is at the heart of this firm. Key responsibilities will include but limited to: Taking ownership of the P&Ls for the central support functions and performing variance analysis against budget and forecast. Explaining these variances to senior Finance personnel. Involvement in key Finance projects such as potential acquisitions, systems enhancements, adoptions of new accounting standards etc. Managing a team of 2 Financial Accountants in London and 3 Financial Accountants in Manila. As well as general guidance and support you will be responsible for ensuring that they prioritise tasks to meet monthly reporting requirements.
