This mid-tier UK law firm are seeking to hire an ambitious credit controller / legal accounts assistant to join their busy finance team. The successful individual will assist in handling the firm's on going outstanding debts. Duties include;
• Maintaining all departmental debt levels, forming relationships with both partners and clients when chasing outstanding bills, reconciling larger client statements on a monthly basis
• Documenting all client interaction notes through finance system
• Handling incoming monies (cash, wire transfers, etc) working closely with the cashier teams to allocate monies
• Assist with busy periods such as month end This role will either suit a credit controller with around 6-12 months exp experience in an accounts department ideally in a law firm. A working knowledge of Excel and Word is preferred. This position will involve a lot of internal and external client interaction it is essential that candidates have excellent communication and organisational skills.
