We are recruiting a Finance Manager to work with an FMCG business in Banbury for a fixed term 12 Month Contract. This is a company who have branded products available on supermarket shelves and in homes everywhere across the UK. The family run business are widely known within their industry and have grown a large footprint within their niche area of the FMCG Market. Working closely with Financial Director, the Finance Manager will supervise and manage the day to day financial functions, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, management reporting and audit preparations. Your Key
Responsibilities:
Manage all month end and year end processes including producing management accounts, P&L etc Ensure that all purchase invoices are processed and approved on a daily basis in line with company policy, and that good communications are maintained with suppliers, including statement reconciliations and prompt answers to any queries raised. Prepare payment runs for ad hoc payments and ensure suppliers are paid in line with the agreed terms Manage cash flow, closely monitoring and ensuring bank balances are reconciled daily Manage the Goods Received Not Invoiced (GRNI) and invoice register reporting Ensure monthly routines are adhered to in line with agreed procedures and deadlines, including payroll, balance sheet reconciliations, prepayments, accruals, fixes asset journals, VAT and intrastate returns. Support ongoing forecasting and budgeting routines by providing accurate monthly overhead reporting Keep all system information is kept up to date and accurate, including cash allocation etc Conduct financial reviews to produce monthly management pack to the business Ensure business insurance policies are managed appropriately Support the annual audit process Supervise Accounts Assistant offering support and guidance appropriately Skills & Experience Part- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified Previous experience from within manufacturing or FMCG business Good understanding of profit/loss, Balance Sheet and cash flow Excellent communicator Benefits Package and other information Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:30am - 17:00pm 25 days holiday, plus Bank Holidays Holiday purchase scheme Medicashcashback scheme Childcare vouchers Free car parking Candidates on short notice or immediately available will be highly considered .
