Our client is a global PR business that has grown organically and through acquisition. The UK business has seen double digit revenue growth for 2018 and has further bolstered its already impressive client portfolio. They are now looking to hire a Head of Finance to lead a team of ten and business partner with the senior executives, as the demand on the global finance team increase due to rapid growth. The role responsibilities will include but not limited too; Support the Managing Director and provide insights into business trends and performance Develop a comprehensive 5 year business plan to enable the exec team to make informed business decisions as well as anticipating and reacting to ad hoc queries that may be raised Develop a true business partnering approach to the senior executive team and the wider operations department across the UK business lead the UK finance team and provide clear objectives and meaningful feedback to help develop team members in their career progression Work closely with the Departmental Heads to facilitate a more proactive and effective finance support function Develop the Transactional Finance team to ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting entries and a strong control environment Review the annual statutory financial statements, tax compliance (corporation tax, VAT) and company secretarial filings Lead the monthly reporting cycle and take responsibility for the timely completion of the reporting pack to facilitate Group Consolidation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly competent and experienced audit trained Chartered Accountant (ACA/CA) to join a business that is heavily investing in finance. You will have the opportunity to lead and shape the finance function and support the executive team through a sustained period of growth. Ideally, you will have worked with SME/privately owned businesses, managed and coached teams, as well as having the gravitas to influence keys stakeholders and add value through insightful business information.
