My client in Harpenden are looking for a HR Assistant to join their team, reporting to the HR Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for processing the monthly payroll in a timely manner. What's on Offer Flexible working hours 20 days holiday 8 Bank holidays Pension Free Parking Modern offices Early finish on a Friday Kitchen facilities Key Responsibilities Responsible for the monthly payroll Processing payment runs Responsible for processing new starters and leavers Recording any absences, SSP, Maternity, Paternity Ensuring all submissions are made correctly to HMRC Manage any payroll queries Assisting the HR Manager Any other Adhoc duties Skills and Experience Previous experience within a payroll position is essential Confident using Microsoft packages (Outlook, Excel, Word) Good communications skills via phone, email and face to face Interpersonal skills High level of attention to detail The ability to effectively maintain confidential information Due to the large numbers of responses we receive, despite our best efforts it is not possible to respond to every application.
