The finance team, based in London, is responsible for our London, Hong Kong and Sydney studios and deals with all aspects of finance management and planning. Purpose: The purpose of this role is to run the day to day accounts of the company and support the Finance Manager. The role is varied and offers the right candidate an opportunity to gain experience in different areas of accounting and finance management. Key tasks and

responsibilities:
Run the sales ledger function for the business - Keeping client accounts up to date - Raising sales invoices in both in both GBP and foreign currencies - Receipting of cash and reconciling - Managing any invoice queries - AR statements Undertake credit control procedures. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate differences. Posting of monthly journals Production of month end accounts by entity and consolidated results - Monthly accounting of HK and China subsidiary, Australian branch - Ensure fee planners are up to date in order to recognise revenue Prepare VAT returns and EC sales return. Chase timesheets Bill intercompany ONS surveys Assist with the year end audits Cover the purchase ledger role when necessary The role reports into the Finance Manager however work will also be delegated from the Head of Finance. Candidate Requirements: Accounting background - part qualified management accountant Systems knowledge Good computer skills with intermediate knowledge in excel Ability to confidently communicate and liaise with clients and staff across all levels Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload A flexible attitude and a strong team ethic Able to use initiative to plan own work schedule to meet deadlines Attention to detail Remuneration: Competitive salary and excellent benefits on offer If you are interested please apply No agencies please
