Goldhawk Associates are currently supporting a Top Tier Firm of Accountants based in North Kent who are looking to appoint a General Practice Partner to oversee their audit and advisory services. Based in North Kent you will be supporting the Managing Partner and Regional Managing Partner as part of the Senior Leadership Team and be responsible for the audit and advisory service provision and the success of the team and its client offering. As General Practice Partner you will be involved in the running of the department and working closely with other Senior Management to drive the overall success of the firm. You will lead from the front and have a responsibility for your team and staff and the overall success and wellbeing of the department. Your role with involve the provision of audit and accountancy services and to provide operational leadership to the Audit and Business Services teams. You will be responsible for a mixed client portfolio of over £500k where you will manage and further develop this portfolio. You will be responsible for working successfully with your client base and developing strong and relationships. You will manage the client base and work effectively with budgets and targets. Service is key and you will ensure the team work to a high standard and that the technical quality of work is in line with expectations. At the same time, you will work with internal stakeholders to support, mentor and develop them to maintain a collective approach and a nurturing and successful internal team environment. You will have a key part to play in the development of the firm's client offering and will be responsible for networking and developing business and increasing the service provision in order to grow the portfolio and successfully deliver technical excellence at all times. This position is looking to attract someone with similar experience at a Director or Partnership level within the profession who is looking for a new challenge. Or this may suit someone at a senior level who is looking for that next step up but is lacking in progression prospects currently. It is essential that you have managed a sizable portfolio and are able to demonstrate your technical competence and business success and knowledge effectively. You will be strong interpersonally and be able to lead the team by example. You will be ACA/ACCA Qualified and RI status would be beneficial.
