Bookkeeper - Our client is a company in the care sector who are looking to recruit a Bookkeeper to join their small, friendly team of 9 based just outside of Norwich. This Bookkeeper role is working on a permanent basis, hours of work being Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm. The client is located down in an area of no public transport, so access to a vehicle would be essential. Bookkeeper duties include, but are not limited to: Sage Payroll 50Cloud - Weekly and monthly staff salaries and self-employed wages Bank reconciliation Quarterly VAT Returns Process and reconcile company credit cards Credit Control Sales & purchase ledger Basic bookkeeping Processing invoices Prepare quarterly management accounts journals of sales invoices and Self-employed wages to give accurate and meaningful accounts Liaise with HMRC and provide all documentation as required by law Produce advertising copy for marketing purposes - liaise with outside agencies regarding advertising Send out weekly newsflash Produce bi-monthly gazette Ensure all printed material is maintained Provide HR and personnel support as required IT and Telecoms support Manage and maintain all insurances Manage and maintain ongoing contractors (e.g. Electricity etc) CMS - resolve and manage issues as required Required Skills: Previous experience working with Sage 50 Cloud Experience in a similar role and with bookkeeping, credit control, sales and purchase ledgers etc. Have access to a vehicle due to location Fully computer literate This role is permanent with working hours of 9:00am to 4:00pm in a relaxed, friendly environment.
