An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join well established engineering company based in Staffordshire. Our client who specialises in communication engineering is now seeking for an Accounts Assistant to join their busy office on part time basis. As an Accounts Assistant you will be required to:
• Deal with purchase orders
• Liaise with contractors and engineers
• Check invoices
• Raise Invoices
• Allocate payments
• Deal with bank reconciliation
• Data entry on spreadsheets
• General office duties To be considered for this position as an Accounts Assistant you must have:
• Excellent computer skills
• Competent in sales and purchase ledger
• Knowledge of VAT and HMRC reporting would be advantageous
• Knowledge of XEROS software
• Experience in Traffic Management
• Previous experience in similar role preferably as a Sales Ledger
• Experience in Credit Control In return as Accounts Assistant you will receive:
• Competitive salary based on experience
• Part- time position (9am - 15.00pm Monday to Friday or three full days a week from 9am -17.00pm)
